Christine Tulk
Christine Tulk was born and raised in St. Albert, Alberta. She moved to Fort McMurray in 1981 and attended Peter Pond School and graduated from Composite High School in 1985. She completed her BA and B ED After Degree at the University of Alberta. Christine began her teaching career at Timberlea Public School in 1990 and taught junior high there for 18 years. During her time at Timberlea, she spent the majority of her time in Junior High teaching English, Social Studies and Health, but also taught grade 4, 6, and conflict management from grades 1-8.
Christine was also the lead LAC person for junior high students at Timberlea. Christine has worked the last seven years at Westwood, first in ILC, then moving into Student Services. She has been the grade 12 counsellor at Westwood Community High School for the last five years. During the summers, Christine, along with her husband of 20 years, have been building a summer home in Newfoundland where they hope to spend part of the year once they retire. In her free time, Christine enjoys travelling, reading, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.
