Luc Tremblay
Luc Tremblay was born in Alma, Quebec a very long time ago (like really long ago….when dinosaurs roamed the earth). He has taught in French immersion grade 3 to grade 9 for the last 25 years. Luc began his career at Frank Spragins and then moved on to Ecole Dickinsfield. He is currently teaching mathematics and science, as well as woodshop at École McTavish. As a volleyball coach, Luc has been involved in the many sport successes of École McTavish over the years and was a volunteer referee for numerous games during his career.Luc is a proud member of this community, where him and his wife Monique Boily (teacher at Dickinsfield) raised two wonderful children: Laure-Anne (grade 12 at Westwood) and Simon (grade 9 at McTavish). When he is not in the classroom, Luc can be found on the golf course, at the ski hill, doing home renos, or watching football. Kind and generous with his time, Luc is always there to help a friend in need. His sense of humour and smile is contagious and guaranteed to brighten your day. As he says himself: My plan was to spend one year in Fort McMurray and 25 years later I am still here and still having fun teaching!
