Phillips, Brenda

Brenda is originally from Wreck Cove, Newfoundland. She came to Fort McMurray with her family in 1998. Brenda has 3 children, Kelly (39), who is in Newfoundland, Melissa (34), who is in Nova Scotia, and Gavin (31), who resides here in Alberta. She also has 2 grandchildren whom she adores.

Brenda began working with our district in 2005 as a custodian. Her first position was at Composite High School, followed by Dr. Clark School and she took over as head custodian in 2008 and she has stayed at Thickwood Heights School since then. Brenda is well liked by everyone she has contact with and helps out wherever she can. She loves working with her co-workers and interacting with staff, students and parents. She is working towards her retirement when she will move back East.
