Reid, Lana

Lana moved to Fort McMurray from Newfoundland. She started with the district in 2003 as a casual which she then left for a year. Lana returned in a full-time position in 2004. She worked at several different school for short periods of time: Timberlea, Thickwood, Greely Road, Dr Clark, Walter and Gladys Hill, Beacon Hill and Westview. The majority of her time has been at TIMBERLEA.

She always seems to find her way back to her Timberlea Family. Lana has been married to her best friend Barry for almost 26 years. They have two beautiful

daughters, Laiken age 25, Cassie age 22 and “fur” baby Emmitt. Some interesting information about Lana is that she moved to Fort McMurray at age eleven. She started school in grade six at Thickwood Heights, then did grades seven to nine at Peter Pond and then to Composite where she graduated in 1984.
