Cavell Dumaresque
Cavell was born in L'anse Au Clair, Labrador and fittingly she began her teaching career in the wilds of Labrador roughly 24 years later. Cavell moved to Fort McMurray in 2005 and although originally hired to teach Grade 6 at Greely Road School, her expertise in Special Education and High School English brought her to Fort McMurray Composite High School prior to the start of classes. She spent 5 years at Composite where she was instrumental in assisting dozens of K & E students successfully pass their English 30-2 diploma. In 2012 she joined the staff of Frank Spragins HIgh School as Learning Assistance Teacher and Learning Coach.
Since her arrival at Frank Spragins her role has expanded to include academic counselling and teaching ENglish 30-2. In her spare time, Cavell enjoys cooking, exercise and driving all the staff at Frank Spragins crazy by sharing her expertise in nutrition and healthy eating!
