She will retire at the end of the current school year, 24 years on.She has been the much-loved Head Custodian at Westview School since 1999. Gloria has forged wonderful relationships, and is adored and appreciated by staff and students alike at Westview. This follows periods working at a number of schools throughout the District including Greely Road, Frank Spragins and Dr Clark. Gloria loves the people that she works with and loves meeting and developing new Custodians. She openly admits to loving smiley faces and enjoys receiving compliments and thanks about her hard work. Recently the students and staff designed a wonderful display in the school and called it, “It’s a clean sweep. We Love our Custodians” with orange buckets citing the reasons why. 6K loves their Custodians ‘because they work long and hard to clean our school. They respect our belongings.’ It really was a wonderful tribute.
