Kowaluk, Melanie

Melanie moved to Fort McMurray from Newfoundland and is currently in her 11th year working with Fort McMurray Public School District. She started her career as an Educational Assistant in Educare, before moving to Timberlea, and Greely Road schools. At Beacon Hill School Melanie has worked primarily with Division 1 students helping them build their literacy skills through the Levelled Literacy Intervention program, where numerous students have experienced tremendous growth to achieve near grade level expectations.Melanie enjoys spending time with her family camping, skiing, and travelling as much as possible.
