Dawn Sudom
Dawn Sudom is a true Alberta girl, she was born and raised in Southern Alberta and graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education in 1994. She moved to Pitt Meadows, BC with her now husband Jason. Dawn was a Teacher On Call for 10 years, as she gained great experiences in all grade levels K-12. During this time she was raising 2 young boys, Quintin now 16 and Julius 14. They moved to Fort McMurray in September 2004. Dawn started teaching part-time in October at Greely Road in kindergarten, the class was so big it needed to be split. She then went to full time when the other teacher went on maternity leave. She taught kindergarten for 2 more years along with ECDP.
Her next assignment at Greely was Grade 3, followed by a year in Grade 2/3. Dawn then went to teach ECDP at Westview in August 2009, where she is currently teaching. Dawn truly enjoys working with the youngest students in the school, they are always eager to come to school and they show so much growth and development. Dawn enjoys supporting her boys in hockey and school sports. As a family they enjoy travelling to Kelowna, Las Vegas, and other destinations.
