408.3 Tutoring and Conducting Other Personal Business at School

The Board of Directors, through its administration, retains all rights to determine when individuals and employees, when on school property and during working hours, may conduct personal business.

All instructional or extracurricular services provided to students during school hours or school sponsored activities/practices shall be provided as part of the District’s educational program. No employee shall render tutorial services, lessons, coaching or other educational services for pay or other compensation during the hours school is in session or during their contract hours. Teachers may not be employed as private tutors of pupils currently enrolled in their classes, unless prior specific approval is given from the Superintendent.

No District facilities, equipment, materials or supplies shall be used by any employee for private tutoring, lessons, coaching or other educational services or for an employee’s private business or activities without prior specific approval from the Superintendent.
