Administrative Responsibility of the Director of Food Services
The food services program for the school district shall be the responsibility of the director of food services. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, providing nutritional meals to students at low prices, maintaining accurate food service records, advocating good health through the promotion of the school food program and any other duties assigned by the board or the superintendent.
It shall be the responsibility of the director of food services to perform the responsibilities outlined in this policy statement. It shall be the responsibility of the superintendent to develop a job description outlining these responsibilities in detail.
References to “director of food services” in this policy manual shall mean the “director of food services”, or the director of food services “designee” unless otherwise stated in the board policy.
