Esteban Trev Responds
Here is Esteban's response to the PM Chat Log.
Esteban Trev Barry, Thanks for sharing that PM conversation. From an abstract perspective that conversation focuses on figuring me out rather than figuring out something I stated.
Below I left what I composed in response to that thread … though it's getting a bit long. Basically I was addressing how this medium does not include certain signals common in other kinds of interations which may help to focus on what is being said rather than how it's being said… thing is individuals often imagine and project the how it's being said unto the messages (often projecting their misconceptions into it).

Please do notice how your conversation shifted from "what be at play" to "who be playing this and that role". Seems to me most people here seek to interact with each other rather than seek be attentive to the underlying memetic ideological stories they and others create/recreate.
In a way I am more interested in solving the giant jigsaw puzzle than dealing with personal stuff. I concur with your assessment related to being unafraid to express something in public, and engage in similar 'unending dialogues' in Private Chat. Of course I do seek for the dialogues to reach a conclusion and to employ civil and courteous ways without that getting in the way of seeking the truth of the matter.
Something I like about these virtual electronic interactions is that dew to bandwidths involved coupled with the log registry enables interaction to take a different form. You kind of mentioned this when you said: --FB is a strange medium, where there is no visual image. No facial expressions, no inflections in tone of voice, no body language to interpret--. Individuals tend to make up proxies and imagine inflections in tone of voice and body language and other signals that actually aren't there. This medium enables to highlight this taking place.
Please consider that what you describe as the inchoate stream of consciousness, as if narrating fragments of an incoherent dream seek to focus on and handle the underlying memetic ideological stories. Sometimes a simple statement involves quite a bit of additional material. For example when I mention the notion of 'identical copies' I am recalling a conversation involving beliefs one may hold related to them identical copies. I know many will glaze over and think nothing more than what they imagine, still some may wonder and inquire why I mention it an ask me to elaborate on it. Some may even get it without having to jointly delve deeper into the matter.
I think it quite rare for individuals to focus on what is being said without the who said it and the tone employed… will leave it here… for now…
