Thought I'd jot down what is in bloom today, for comparison year-over-year.

I realized that there is something in bloom every day as the woodland blooms starts to fade, the prairie picks up.

In the woods: Solomon's plume; Solomon's seal; Water leaf; Blue-eyed grass; Columbine

In the prairie: Spiderwort; Penstemon; Prairie smoke; Harebell; White wild indigo, Blue wild indigo; Lupine;

Bluebirds are rushing to keep their young fed by flying in and out of the box, sometimes with less than a minute in between runs.
