Casino Review: Potawatomi Casino WI

Potawatomi Casino Milwaukee Wisconsin

90 minutes from downtown Chicago (Heading North)

The Pot is good stuff. The property itself is massive! Over 1.1MIL SQFT of space under one roof. Plenty of dining options, a better than good food court and a buffet that is always jammed packed.

Nearly 3,000 slot machines spread out in 4 different, yet linked, casinos. With gaming on two floors it "feels" like you are somewhere special. The 2nd floor has a huge high stakes Bingo hall and a smaller non-smoking casino. The 1st floor has a non-smoking area in the main "original" casino and the "new" casino across from it has plenty of table games and even more slots to keep you busy. The 4th casino is a bit of a cop-out. The added some machines to the annex that connects the original gaming floor to the lobby of their newly built Hotel.

If you time your visit right, you can head to the fair grounds nearby for an event. The Harley Davidson Museum is just a block away as well. And the famous Milwaukee County Zoo is just up the road as is the Brewers Ball Park if you are into MLB action.

We like to do the Milwaukee Historical Museum. That place is pretty fucking awesome! I'm from Chicago, born and raised. We have some of the best museums in the country and even I was impressed with theirs!

Meet the "Pot"

View from a room.

As mentioned, there are 2 large casino areas and some satellite ones. Below is the older main casino, it is the most themed of them all.

The other main casino is much more modern with a large bar right smack in its heart.

The entire complex is big, and I mean BIG!

Some Fast facts on the property:

If you add up all the gaming space, it equates to 150,000 SQFT of gambling madness.Unlike the other casinos on my list, The Pot offers a big Bingo Hall and Off Track Betting.
