Provides aid to victims of minor and major disasters, including home fires. The Chapter meets disaster-caused immediate needs for food, shelter, clothing and referral to additional services to meet further needs.

Services: Provide education, advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling, and other direct services for deaf, hard of hearing, deaf/blind, and late-deafened individuals and families; Missouri Crisis Hotline/Text Line; Deaf Crisis Videophone Hotline, sign language classes for all ages; deaf culture training to agencies; Teen Institute (camp for deaf and hard of hearing youth) teaches alcohol and drug abuse prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, and other issues facing youth; free counseling for hearing and deaf individuals and their families who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, rape, incest and child abuse, free 24-hour crisis interpreting for Deaf victims of crime.

Osage County uses an emergency notification system for emergency situations. Residents can expect messages during emergency situations such as hazardous weather, natural disasters, crisis notifications or any other extreme public safety incident.

Free Counseling with a spiritual emphasis but not affiliated with any church denomination and they are not a church, help women and teens by just listening, comforting, encouraging, and supporting. They refer those that need professional help.
