Lake Area Helping Hands Homeless Shelter provides temporary and emergency shelter and transitional housing for homeless men, women, children and families in Camden County. We provide a safe environment for residents to live in while seeking employment, saving money and receiving the counseling needed to become independent. We provide referrals to local agencies, arrange for transportation to and from work and medical appointments, some meals and/or a portion of meals, personal care products and clothing. Our Shelter is here to provide assistance to those in need by giving them a hand up, not a hand out.

Programs at the Harbor House include:
Harbor House Rehabilitation Program: Men in this program maintain sobriety, work towards a college education, enter the workforce, receive counseling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and much more.
Front Line Feeding Program: Free lunch served daily from Noon-1:00 p.m. to anyone who is hungry.

Hours: Referring agency representatives may contact St. Raymond’s Society on behalf of a client at 573-777-1498, Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Services: St. Raymond’s Society House is a transitional home for expectant and newly parenting mothers. Provides resources to mothers in need to become self-reliant and prepare them to give their child the security of a stable home. Offers additional support to pregnant and newly parenting woman who do not need housing but face other challenges, including financial assistance and baby supplies when funds allow.
Fee: Free of charge
Eligibility: Clients must be expectant or newly parenting mothers. Mothers and children five years old or younger may be eligible to live at St. Raymond’s Society House with their children. Residents of SRS House must be 18 years old or older.
Intake Procedures: Referral from another agency and application process.
Required Documentation for Services: St. Raymond’s Society application from referring agency, state ID, background check.
Geographic Area Served: Central Missouri
Population Served: Mother – Clients must be 18 or older to live at SRS House, however no age restrictions on clients living outside of SRS House

Victory Square is the largest homeless men shelter in Springfield and the Ozarks with 150 beds. We provide our shelter guests with a clean, safe and sober place to stay, and the support they need to get back on their feet. Here, they receive a bed to sleep on, nutritious meals, healthcare services and access to the 12/12 Program, Bible studies, life skills courses and Christian counseling.
