The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope, in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness, and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.

Anger management classes are offered at each location when there are enough consumer requests to warrant developing a group. Missouri law requires all persons arrested for an alcohol- or drug- related traffic offense to complete an assessment screening at an OMU. The result of this evaluation determines the appropriate level of SATOP placement for each consumer.

Consumers referred to the WIP, CIP, or YCIP may complete a financial questionnaire called the Standard Means Test. The findings will determine if the consumer will receive financial assistance with the payment of their service level fee.
