Readjustment counseling is a wide range of psycho social services offered to eligible Veterans, Service members, and their families in the effort to make a successful transition from military to civilian life. They include:

  • Individual and group counseling for Veterans, Service members, and their families

  • Family counseling for military related issues

  • Bereavement counseling for families who experience an active duty death

  • Military sexual trauma counseling and referral

  • Outreach and education including PDHRA, community events, etc.

  • Substance abuse assessment and referral

  • Employment assessment & referral

  • VBA benefits explanation and referral

  • Screening & referral for medical issues including TBI, depression, etc.

Open 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday

In an effort to better serve the veteran and family members, upon request Vet Centers will provide services after normal work hours and/or on weekends.

The IBHC offers comprehensive integrative behavioral healthcare for adults who are uninsured or unable to afford low cost, high quality care. Services are provided by graduate and doctoral students at the University of Missouri School of Social Work and Counseling Psychology.

Services: Comprehensive Assessments for mental health, resource needs, and other health needs. Individual Counseling; Crisis Intervention; Case Management; Psycho-educational groups for substance abuse. Assessment of needs and referrals to resources - our clinic does not have any monetary services (e.g. bus passes or housing assistance). Free childcare offered during appointments.

The purpose of the organization is to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. Approximately 15% of all women will experience postpartum depression following the birth of a child. Up to 10% will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy. When the mental health of the mother is compromised, it affects the entire family.
