Pam Astudio Sgiliau Coginio Cartref?

Dyluniwyd cwrs Lefel 2 Sgiliau Coginio Cartref BTEC i ddysgwyr ddatblygu eu sgiliau coginio trwy archwilio ryseitiau ar gyfer prydau maethlon.

Yn sail i bob rysáit mae gwybodaeth am gynllunio a tharddiad bwyd, hylendid a diogelwch. Ystyrir sut i goginio gwahanol elfennau o bryd o fwyd i'w gweini ar yr un pryd. Adlewyrchir pwysigrwydd cyflwyno bwyd yn dda a sut mae hyn yn cyfrannu at y mwynhad o’i fwyta.

Mae'r agwedd o sut i goginio'n economaidd gartref yn bwysig iawn. Trwy wneud rhestrau siopa, adnabod bwydydd tymhorol a chynllunio ymlaen llaw.

Bydd dysgwyr yn arddangos eu sgiliau trwy ddewis ryseitiau ar gyfer pryd dau gwrs maethlon a dilyn y ryseitiau i baratoi, coginio a chyflwyno'r pryd.

Nod y cwrs yw rhoi’r sgiliau a’r hyder i ddysgwyr fwynhau coginio prydau gartref, cymhwyso sgiliau i ryseitiau newydd i barhau i goginio ar gyfer eu hunain a’u teuluoedd ac ysbrydoli eraill.

Why Study Home Cooking Skills?

The BTEC Home Cooking Skills Level 2 course has been designed for learners to develop their cooking skills by exploring recipes for nutritious meals.

Each recipe is underpinned with knowledge about planning and sourcing food, hygiene and food safety. How to cook different elements of a meal to serve them at the same time are considered. The importance of presenting food well and how this contributes to its enjoyment is reflected on in this level 2 course.

Ways to economise when shopping for ingredients and cooking meals at home are significant aspects of this course.

Learners will demonstrate their skills by selecting recipes for a nutritious two-course meal and following the recipes to prepare, cook and present the meal.

This course aims to give learners the skills and confidence to enjoy cooking meals at home, to apply skills to new recipes to continue cooking for themselves and their families and to inspire others.

Asesu / Assessment

Asesir Lefel 2 mewn pedwar maes:

  • Y gallu i gynllunio pryd maethlon, wedi'i goginio gartref gan ddefnyddio cynhwysion sylfaenol.

  • Y gallu i baratoi, coginio a chyflwyno pryd maethlon wedi'i goginio gartref gan ddefnyddio cynhwysion sylfaenol.

  • Deall sut i goginio'n economaidd gartref.

  • Yn gallu trosglwyddo gwybodaeth o'r dosbarth a choginio prydau gartref gydag eraill.

I gwblhau lefel 2 BTEC yn llwyddiannus rhaid i fyfyrwyr ddangos eu sgiliau a'u dysgu trwy dystiolaeth ffotograffig, taflenni gwaith wedi'u cwblhau, cynllunio a gwerthuso'r sgiliau a ddysgwyd.

Gwaith cwrs yn unig sydd yn cael ei asesu o fewn y cwrs BTEC lefel 2.

Nid oes unrhyw arholiadau!


Level 2 is assessed in four areas:

  • Be able to plan a nutritious, home-cooked meal using basic ingredients.

  • Be able to prepare, cook and present a nutritious home-cooked meal using basic ingredients.

  • Understand how to cook economically at home.

  • Be able to pass on information about cooking meals at home from scratch.

To successfully complete BTEC level 2 students must evidence their skills and learning though photographic evidence, completed worksheets, planning and evaluation of skills learned.

This is a BTEC level 2 course and is only assessed on coursework.
