Mathemateg
Mae'r astudiaeth o fathemateg yn orfodol ym mlynyddoedd 10 ac 11 ac mae medrusrwydd a llwyddiant yn y pwnc yn fanteisiol iawn ar gyfer unrhyw yrfa a ddewisir. Mae pob cwrs a gynigir yn cynnwys testunau rhif, algebra, siâp a gofod, trafod data a deall a chymhwyso Mathemateg.
Prif nod y cwrs yw meithrin a datblygu dealltwriaeth o fathemateg drwy broses o arbrofi ac ymchwilio, trwy waith ymarferol a thrwy drafodaeth a chydweithio ag eraill. Anelir at ddatblygu gwybodaeth a gallu mathemategol y disgyblion er mwyn iddynt allu cymhwyso mathemateg at sefyllfaoedd bob dydd.
The study of Mathematics is compulsory in Years 10 and 11. Competence within the subject is greatly valued and will be of vital importance to many careers. Each course offered will include number, algebra, shape and space, data handling and the use and application of Mathematics.
The main aim of the course is to develop an understanding of the subject through a process of enquiry and experiment, through practical work and through discussion and working with others. The pupil's mathematical ability and knowledge will be developed so that he / she can apply Mathematics in everyday situations.

A total of 160 marks for the Higher (A*-C) and Intermediate tiers (B-E); 130 marks for the Foundation Tier (D-G). The higher and intermediate papers will be of 1 hour 45 minutes duration and the foundation 1 hour 30 minutes duration.

Bwriedir y cwrs yma ar gyfer disgyblion a fyddai'n cael anhawster i gyrraedd lefel T.G.A.U. Rhoddir pwyslais ar waith llafar ac ymarferol ac ar osod Mathemateg mewn cyd-destun naturiol. Asesir y disgyblion yn gyson drwy ddefnyddio amrywiaeth o ddulliau e.e. tasgau strwythurol, elfennau ymarferol, gwaith llafar a gwaith ysgrifenedig. Anogir y disgyblion i ddefnyddio cyfrifanellau ac elfennau eraill o dechnoleg gwybodaeth yn ystod gwersi Mathemateg.
Entry Pathways in Mathematics
This course is intended for pupils who would find the G.C.S.E. (K.S.4) course too difficult. Emphasis is placed on oral and practical work and the placing of Mathematics in a realistic context. The pupils are assessed continuously in a variety of ways e.g. structured tasks, practical elements and evidence of class work, homework and written tests. The pupils are encouraged to use calculators and other elements of information technology during Mathematics lessons.
