Mae ein cymwysterau'n cael eu cydnabod yn eang, eu gwerthfawrogi a'u parchu gan gyflogwyr. Mae hyn yn golygu bod dysgwyr sydd wedi'u hachredu gan Agored Cymru mewn sefyllfa gref i ddod o hyd i swydd neu symud ymlaen yn eu gyrfa.

Mae'n drywydd arbennig ar gyfer ein disgyblion sydd gyda diddordeb mawr mewn daearyddiaeth a hanes ond nid ydynt yn perfformio'n dda mewn arholiadau.
Why Study Wales, Europe and the World?
Agored Cymru Units and Qualifications are widely recognised, valued and respected by employers. This means that Agored Cymru accredited learners are in a strong position to find a job or progress in their careers.
The qualification has been developed in partnership with a wide range of organisations from the Welsh Government to the sector skills councils. This means that they meet regulatory requirements, are aligned to the respective frameworks and meet national education priorities.
The qualification is a great alternative for pupils who do not typically thrive in examination style assessments, but have a strong interest in geography and history.

Mae'r asesiad yn seiliedig 100% ar waith cwrs. Does dim dulliau asesu wedi cael eu rhagnodi ar gyfer y cymhwyster. Mae'r asesiadau a ddefnyddir yn addas i’r diben ar gyfer yr unedau unigol a astudir a’r dysgwyr eu hun, ac yn cynhyrchu tystiolaeth o gyrhaeddiad o safbwynt holl feini prawf yr asesiad.
Mae'r cymhwyster Agored Cymru Lefel 2 Tystysgrif Estynedig yn gyfwerth a 2 gradd B yn TGAU.
Assessment is based 100% on coursework. There are no prescribed assessment methods for this qualification. Assessments are designed fit for purpose for the individual units studied and the learners themselves, and will generate evidence of achievement for all the assessment criteria.
This Agored Cymru Level 2 Extended Certificate qualification is equivalent to two B grades at GCSE.

The unit allows learners to develop understanding and knowledge the twentieth and twenty first centuries in Wales.
The learner will:
Understand different sources of information available to investigate the twentieth and twenty first centuries in Wales and their value to historians.
Know the characteristics of the twentieth and twenty first centuries in Wales.
Understand how the interpretation of history is subject to debate and controversy.

The unit allows learners to develop understanding and knowledge of the importance of the role of an individual in Welsh History.

Unit 4: Physical Geography and Climate of Wales
What are the principal geographic features of Wales?
