September 28 - October 1

Looks like Fall has arrived this week. Hopefully the rain stays away so you can get outside. Raking and doing lawn work are excellent ways to work in some activity. Plus running and jumping into leaf piles can be super fun as well. For this week I would like you to look back at your step count tracker activity from last week and see if you can set a daily goal to surpass your previous step count. Push yourself to get at least 10,000 steps in per day. Use this link to go back to last week if you need to print another step log or to look again at the activity converter to see how many steps a different exercise equated to.

This week we will be providing you with some tips for punting a football and catching a football. If you don't have a football at home, any type of ball could work to practice some hand eye coordination and catching a pass from a peer or from a parent. Hope you enjoy the task cards.

For the older students I am also going to provide you with a video clip to determine your eye dominance, see the 11 steps in action, and also learn how to do scoring in archery. There is an activity sheet at the bottom if you would like to try to test your knowledge on the scoring of archery.
