South Africa does face a serious water crisis because of unreliable rain, demand from agriculture, industries, and towns that have led to a water supply problem that cannot be satisfied entirely by the construction of large dams and water schemes. Everyday life for a Girl is much different than a Boys life. Girls are likely to be sent to secondary school than their brothers. More than 10 million girls will be working in there homes doing some tasks such as fetching water, cleaning, cooking and looking after a relative or baby in a rural setting with no water or electricity. In Zambia for example, just 30% of girls have access to secondary education. Leaving %40 of the 783 million people in that region not ever having enough water to survive. The hardest part is without water you can't grow food, build a house, stay healthy and you can't stay in school.

There are many reasons that attribute to this growing water crisis in South Africa. Climate Change has affected water supplies within the region. Pollution of rivers and lakes, urbanization, over-extraction of groundwater and expanding populations mean that many nations such as India face serious water shortages. Rains usually are very rare to have. For example, in Cape Town, one- third of the global population live under the conditions of severe lack of water. By June 2018 dam levels had increased More than 43%.

The Flint water crisis first started in 2014 when the drinking water source for the city of Flint, Michigan was changed from Lake Huron and then the Detroit River. They changed Lake Huron to the Detroit River because due to insufficient water treatment, lead leached from the lead water pipes into the drinking water, exposing over 100,000 residents. People are not very happy about the Flint water crisis. All the people are thinking that the government has know made this Water Crisis worst. The government said "implementation and oversight lapses" from the city, but they are sure that Flint MI does have clean drinking water. The people in Flint MI do not like what they are saying. All the people want is help so that they can survive and have clean water. The government wants to have there EPA work harder to see if Flint MI is poisoning there water. Arthur A. Elkins Said, "This report urges the EPA to strengthen its oversight of state drinking water programs now so that the agency can act quickly in times of emergency".

In Flint MI they have faced the water crisis for under 2 years it started in 2014 and it was really bad. The problem in Flint MI is still not fixed. All the lead pipes are being replaced, which is expected to be completed in 2019.

Less than Third of Afghanistan population access to clean water. Thousands of kids are dying every year from not having enough clean water. These kids are dying because they are not getting enough clean water and food. The Hindu Kush mountain range, which has been Afghanistan's main source of water, is under threat due to the rapid melting of glaciers. Afghanistan does not have many Oceans around them so when a melting glacier comes there are not many places to put all of that water. The Melting Glaciers are like one of the only places that they can get water. There are many people and groups helping out with the water crisis.

Less than %80 of Afghanistan does not have water. Afghanistan uses almost all of the water to do other things like cleaning them self and other things. Afghanistan lacks water the worst in the world. More than %95 of Afghanistan does not have any clean water.
