There are over 218 million kids in the world that do child labor work. That is a big problem. The worst kinds are Agriculture, Toxic work, and the Carpet industry
Nearly 60% of all kids in child labor work in agriculture, jobs like Farming, Fishing, and Forestry over 108 million kids in the world. Three out of four children in labor, work in agriculture. Nearly half of all child labor in the world now takes place in Africa: 72 million kids are in child labor and the vast majority is performed in agriculture, followed by Asia with 62 million. Some children work as domestic workers unpaid like slaves. The small fraction of kids that are paid could get paid less than 20 cents per day.
Agriculture in the world can interfere with going to school and getting an education. Children work on fields with pesticides, stay up all night on boats, carrying heavy loads, and farming, it can interfere with their social and physical development."The kids could get a disease like Anthrax, Brucellosis, E.coli, rabies, and ringworm."(ILO)

They could work in factories, mining oil, or working at a nuclear plant.”(International labor organization). 34.6 percent of the kids in toxic work are 5-10 years old. A study shows that 90% of the kids in toxic work don't wear protective gear and it could harm them physically and mentally.

The carpet industry uses kids to weave and hand make carpets and rugs. The countries with the most amount of kids are in India and Pakistan. “Most prized by the carpet producers are young boys. Their nimble fingers are perfectly suited to carpet weaving, and being children, they are more easily coerced to work sixteen to eighteen hours a day.”(CNN News). Kids in the carpet industry could work up to 7 days a week from the ages 3 and up.
Poverty is the main reason why kids have to work in the carpet industry. The family will put their kid to work to pay off a loan or to buy food, water or shelter.
