Marine and Air pollution are big problems however there are many ways to solve it, there are 4.6 million people that die every year from air pollution and 100,000 animals every year die from marine pollution. Marine Pollution

Marine pollution is pollution that can hurt the marine animals which are the animals that live in some type of body of water. The different types of marine pollution are plastic waste, toxins, and noise.

One reason why Marine Pollution should stop is because animals can get seriously hurt. Marine animals are very important to the world because some animals never get to live a full life and that is not very good for the population of that animal species, because it might go extinct. Some types of marine pollution are really bad for the animals and the environment like oil, metal, solid waste, and chemicals. “Plastic garbage, which decomposes very slowly, is often mistaken for food by marine animals” (http://wwf.panda.org). Oil is bad for the water because oil destroys many of the marine animals habitats like coral reefs and kelp forests.

Another reason why Marine pollution should stop is because it is not good for the water whether it is a lake, river, pond, or an ocean. There are many people that swim in body's of water but it is not good to swim in very polluted water because you might get really sick or smell really bad. Another problem is people drinking water that is not clean for them to drink because people pollute the water and make it worse than it already is. Why people drink polluted water is because they might have to get water from a dirty lake or pond. Some way to stop that from happening are bringing something to put your trash in if you know there is not a trash can there or pick up trash you see on the ground and throw it away.

Third reason why Marine pollution should stop is because some people don’t have filters for clean water. If some people don’t have anything for clean water and we pollute the water that could be really bad for there health and for the animals that swim in and drink the water as well. Some types of marine pollution are really bad for the animals and the environment like oil, metal, solid waste, and chemicals. Oil is bad for the water because it could poison the fish and kill them. Some ways to prevent that from happening are picking up trash in the water or trash that might pollute the water. There are many more ways we can stop that from happening like making sure all trash cans, recycling bins have lids, and making more of them at places like beaches and at parks.

Air pollution

Air pollution is pollution that can really affect the environment because it makes living things like trees and flowers can become unhealthy so they can’t survive. The types of air pollution are particles, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen dioxide.

One reason why Air pollution should stop is because it is not good to breath in for your health. There are two different types of air pollution indoor air pollution and outdoor air pollution. Indoor pollution is pollution like dust or maybe smoke from your fireplace because some people might be allergic to dust and it is also not good to breath in. Outdoor pollution is pollution like smoke and gas because gas is also not good to breath in and it can pollute the environment which is not good for the environments heath.

Another reason why Air pollution should stop is because it is not good for the environment. It is not good for the environment because all of the bushes, flowers, and trees could die because of the surrounding air. If the trees die then there would be no more air to breath because trees create most of the air we breath. Some ways to stop that from happening are keeping the trees around you safe from things like trash and very strong wind.

Third reason why Air pollution should stop is because it is not good for the wildlife. It is not good for the wildlife because things like acid rain is really harmful to the animals and their environment. The acid rain is very dangerous and kills many plants. Air pollution is a problem in rural and urban areas. Some ways to prevent that from happening are using less gas and creating more things that use things that are not harmful to anything around you. Biking to short places so you don’t use the gas from your car could save you money and you wouldn’t endanger the environment. There are many more ways to prevent that from happening like making things that use gas use energy instead or solar panels.

Although Marine and Air pollution are bad for the environment people still think it is OK to pollute the air and the water. Many people are trying to make it so that doesn't happen anymore like Clay McMullen because he is trying to stop both marine and air pollution from happening.
