Over 34.3 million Girls around the world aren’t in school because of these three reasons religion, poverty, lack of food and water. And more but those are the biggest cases of poor or no education for girls.

Poverty is one of the largest reasons that girls aren't in school. Poverty is caused by several things a couple of examples are buying food, transportation clothing, car fuel, buy/rent a house, and taxes. These are things you'll spend money on but they aren't really causes of poverty. But all together they add up into a large amount. In my opinion, the biggest Reason is the lack of a job. Because if you don’t have a job you can’t help yourself. And you won't be able to pay for anything. Therefore girls can’t go to school if they don’t have money to buy food, water, or school supplies. And even pay for school. Poverty can Cases girls to have to walk miles and hours to get food, water, and other items.
If girls do go to school occasionally they aren’t even sheltered by a building. Poverty has caused 41 percent of Afghanistan schools not to have a place to teach or learn in. And even if the community had the ability to build a school most of the time there is not enough money in the community to have a big or even decent size school. Like in some tribes they have to make their schools out of wood and sticks and mostly only have one room

Lack of water is another large reason why girls do not go to school. In poor places like Africa and Sudan, girls have to travel long distance barefoot for water or food most of their time.
Tens of thousands of people have lived in Sudan and fled because of war and presently live in refugee camps. That don’t provide enough food and water. Most times the water is not fresh. And thousands of people have died because of this. Water and food are the best resources but they are taken for granted all the time. In some places, girls have to walk miles and hours without roads or shoes for water that isn't always clean and that is a reason why girls can't attend school because there lack of water.

sometimes girls can’t or aren't allowed to go to school for religious reasons such as in some religions girls are treated second before boys. “Too often marriage is seen as a higher priority than education” theirworld.org for girls. In some religions, people think girls shouldn't be outside without a man family member. And should stay inside attending to housework. “Over 60% of women (20-24) with no education were married before 18” girlsnotbrides.org.
