Animal abuse is a big problem on this planet and today you will be learning about the abuse of animals, Also about how they are getting abandoned and becoming stray. But we can stop that, There are clubs and activists helping this big problem and the shelters/ASPCA/etc that are helping to try and prevent this. Did you know that there are 70 million animals in the U.S that are living stray hungry and scared everyday. Let’s start with the shelters and ASPCA, both of these places help to stop animal abuse and they both succeed. I say that because ASPCA is one of the best shelters for animals in the U.S, This company was one of the first started in North America and it is now one of the biggest. There is so many animals that have been helped or saved by shelters, and ASPCA it is incredible, As ASPCA would say “Don’t let criminals harm more innocent victims,” ~ASPCA.

Another thing ASPCA’s organization believes that all animals should be fostered with care and respect just like humans, I agree. The people at shelters try to stop the death of animals because almost 2.7 million cats and dogs are killed each year, That is how bad animal abuse is.We also have to stop animal abandonment because when animals are abandoned they might get into bad food or they could injure themselves. Then they are suffering and the shelter owners have to put them down, we can stop this so if you agree keep reading.

How we can help

The way people can help stop animal abuse and abandonment by helping at my local animal shelter, nothing is better than spending the afternoon or morning with a bunch of animals. Another way you or I can help stop this is adopting a pet so if your lonely and need a friend you know what they say “A dog is a man’s best friend.”

(If you are interested all you have to do is go to your local animal shelter and see if you can adopt a pet.) just If your lonely and need a friend you know what they say “A dog is a man’s best friend.” A couple final reasons why and how we can stop this is “Start a charity,” (These are some of the best charities around the globe, There is African Wildlife Association, Digit Fund, and Snow Leopard.) Starting a charity can raise money to take in more animals at the shelter and not have to leave in the streets. Now for this one it is pretty easy, Just do something for an animal help them maybe feed them but DO NOT FEED MAMMALS, try not to feed mammals like Deer, Racoons, Skunks, and Possums because they then become dependent on you feeding them, and they will keep coming back. The final reason we can help is to just stick up for animals if you see a abandoned animal help it don’t leave it there, and if you see a animal getting hurt or abused say something or do something to help it.
