Navision is a back end system used to store all data for the Winning Group. The data is extremely sensitive so we need to make sure we are using NAV with care.

When uploading new items we must ensure the SKU code does not exceed 20 characters.
No special characters or spaces allowed in SKUs except hyphens "-".
For SKUs sent to us with full stops "." it is best practice to load the SKU with them removed. Other special characters can be replaced with "-".
The description of a SKU must not exceed 30 characters.
The Vendor Item Number must not exceed 20 characters (but special characters are permitted).
SKU code needs to be in all CAPS.
Description needs to be in all CAPs.
All items must have an EAN or UPC (barcodes).

Deadlock: This means NAV or a colleague is doing the same task as you. You will need to wait for them to finish before you can proceed with the task
Item Cross reference invalid - You need to check for errors on the cross reference tab. The error messages will explain what the issue is.
EAN code unknown - The EAN you are using does not meet the EAN ruling so need to go back to who sent this to you. You can check EAN validity here.
