Orders going direct to customer 

1. 1. If the product is not part of Qasair, ZIP or Speed Queen, the 201DIRECT must be approved by Ashleigh Templeton.
      
      

   2. Open SO - check it is set to 201DIRECT in the location codes. Advise Central admin to correct this first before taking any further action.

1. 3. Make sure SO is paid in full - this is absolutely critical!

1. 4. If for ZIP Install - Check  ZIP install code on the lines is an item and not a resource - ZIPINST1 (install), ZIPINST2 (delivery and install). H5X is the only type of ZIP tap that these codes are not necessary.

1. 5. Click make PO on all relevant items on the SO

      • Functions > create retail PO

      • Copy the customer card number from the SO

1. 6. Open the new PO

1. 7. Delete the item line(s) on the PO

1. 8. Go to the Shipping Tab - Change the following:

      • Sell to customer No - Put customer card number

      • Update the ship to code to match what it is on the SO. Normally it is 1000.

      • Change Location - 201DIRECT

      • Put customer contact number

1. 9. Go to Related Information > Order > Drop shipment > Get Sales Order

      • Select 201DIRECT sales order

      • Remember to add any delivery charges from the SO as G/L 2170. If the SO lists delivery as an item, delete it from the PO. Zip is the only exception to this as mentioned above.
        
        

   10. Check the SO's shipping tab against the PO's shipping tab to ensure they match. Click show more fields to ensure you see the full address on both.

1. 11. Get customer's e-mail and phone number and put them in description of the PO for Zip. Ensure you state on the description that the PO is Direct Delivery.

1. 12. Get customers SO and phone number, put in description of the PO. Ensure you state on the description that the PO is Direct Delivery.

1. 13. Untick EDI if it's EDI vendor
       
       

   14. Release the PO and double-check that the address on the pdf matches the SO.

1. 15. E-mail the PO to the supplier and cc admin team and sales person. Use the below template:

       • Hi team,
         
         Please find the attached PO for direct delivery to the customer.
