Snake in the Grass Habitat (Collage)

Students will create 1 Snake in the Grass Collage artwork. The project can be created with either paint or crayons or color pencils or markers.

• Collage- when other pieces of paper are cut or ripped and then glued to another sheet of paper to create a New Artwork.

• Layers- when things (like paper) are placed on top of each other.

• Overlap- When something  (like paper) is placed partway on top of another piece of paper.

• Pattern- Something that repeats (happens again and again), such as lines, shapes, colors, and shapes.

• Habitat- the natural home or environment of animals and plants.

Materials to be used: Pencil, paper, paint (if the young artist has paint) or color pencils or crayons, if they do not have paint.
