“Henri Matisse Fish Bowl”

• Create a Fish Bowl inspired by Henri Matisse.  Henri Matisse was a French Artist who loved to draw and paint people and use lots of colors.

• First, focus on creating the fish tank cylinder. 

• Use the  step-by-step diagram below to help with the drawing the Fish Tank. Use the Art Cart and a sheet of art paper to demonstrate how to draw the cylinder referring to the directions from the diagram below.

• Try to create 2-4 fish.

• Begin with a pencil...when finished drawing it, use a black crayon to trace over the pencil lines of the fish tank and fish.

• Use small and/or large crayons to color it all in (do not use oil crayons).

• I have included below a picture of directions as to how to draw a Henri Matisse Fish Bowl.

• Also, the fish in your fish bowl should be swimming in different directions.

• Below are 2 videos to demonstrate how to draw a fish. Students can draw different types of fish.
