Mona is a genus of low-lying Ascendia species especially common in alpine environments. Photosynthesis is performed in their tendrils, and some decomposition takes place in their interiors. Typically growing up to 2 ft (.61 m) tall, they easily populate mountainous environments across Arere, Ciele, Doru, and Pratoria.
Pictured to the right are Mona pilosus ("a") and Mona hirsutus ("b"). M. pilosus is found in Pratoria, and M. hirsutus is found in Doru.
