Alpine

The alpine biome, just as on Earth, is found only among the tops of mountain ranges. It is often lumped together with polar tundra and is sometimes considered a sub-biome of tundra set in mountains. Only cold-hardy flora can survive in the harsh climate, and animal life is few and far between (although a few large species still thrive in the unforgiving environment). Alpine climates are present on Arere, Ciele, and Pratoria.
