Arere

Arere is the largest of Xi'ialoa's seven continents. Featuring all three types of aspora along with mountain ranges, vulcan islands, vast zavana, hot and cold desert, scrub, acrid, morass, and everything in between, Arere is truly a glimpse into everything Xi'ialoa has to offer. Its central morass pocket serves as a kind of natural barrier to biological exchange: any species, unable to cross the vast swamps, adapted specific to whichever half of the continent they resided on, resulting in unique speciation that is almost reminiscent of two completely different continents. Some of the largest daily temperature ranges on Xi'ialoa take place on the easternmost part of the continent, and natural disasters such as hurricanes plague the southern coast.

Arere contains three notable islands, a southern aspora archipelago, and a large southern peninsula. In terms of large islands, vulcan archipelagos to the west culminate in the island of Lavare, tropical zavana islands to the east are prevalent on Planus, and boreal aspora form the landscape of the chilly island of Taiga. Arere's southern archipelago, Arkhisia, is dominated predominantly by boreal and temperate aspora, and its large peninsula contains a striking desert landscape. Another notable mention is the island of Zuur towards Arere's center, which contains an isolated acrid environment.
