Robur is a genus of arboreal, syngamic Sugara species residing in humid morass environments. While individual shapes/sizes differ between species, each is characterized by a series of respiration vents running the length of the body.
Vented Sapsucker
(Robur robur)
The Vented Sapsucker, Robur robur, is a small gummivorous species of sapsucker typically residing in humid, morass-based environments. They reside in morasses in Pratoria, where they are numerous within the trunks of sprigs. They are immediately recognizable by their series of respiration vents and bioluminescent "lure". They reproduce strictly parthenogenically, growing genetically identical eggs inside their bodies and then dying as their young are released from their eggs, splitting the adult body in half. They often fall prey to other, larger morass-centric species, yet they still exist in numerous quantities. Their external vents serve as the primary mode of hydrogen respiration and circulation due to unusually thick skin relative to other sapsuckers. They typically grow to around .5 ft (.1524 m) long and typically weigh around .22 lbs (.1 kg).
