Xi'ialoa

A journey of speculative evolution

Welcome to Xi'ialoa (/ʃiiælwʌ/), designated Exura-b (HD-114386), a terrestrial world far, far away where carbon-based lifeforms breathe hydrogen along an evolutionary line completely different from that of Earth. Organisms reminiscent of giant fungi fill the evolutionary niche of plants, and complex life thrives in both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems explored in depth at the links below. All work here is my own, and I do hope you'll stay a while.

Complete biosurvey and explanation, hard science included! Also contains geologic history.

List and detailed descriptions of continents and landmasses.

List and detailed descriptions of Xi'ialoan biomes as well as an overlayed biome map.

Complete taxonomic, phylogenic, and anatomic overview of flora and fauna as well as detailed species bios, updated weekly!

Exactly what the title says! Any time something changes, I'll make note of it here.
