Cucura

Cucura is a genus of low-lying Ascendia species thought to be an intermediate species in the evolutionary line. They are believed to represent the stage where Ascendia began growing in height before reaching Getala. Photosynthesis is performed in their tendrils, and decomposition takes place in their interiors. They typically grow up to 2 ft (.61 m) tall and are found in arid and semi-arid environments on Arere, Doru, and Pratoria.
