César Chávez

Who was César Chávez and what was his role in shaping America?

César Chávez is best known for his activism in support of migrant farm workers in the 1960s. He formed the National Farmworkers Association--now the United Farm Workers of America-- empowering migrant farmers to improve improve their working and living conditions.
