Following the horrors of the Dawn Era, the Dûnan struggle to find their place in the world. The Feuran, unlike the gods, remain on the material plane, and many take the Dûnan under their wings, for better or worse. Many Feuran overlords make promises of glory, utopia, and an end to the struggles and toils of life, in some cases styling themselves as the mouthpiece of a particular god. The Dûnan, newly separated from their creators, do not know otherwise. In this era, most people live under the rule of powerful Feuran overlords, serving their whims and fighting their battles, unaware their new leaders seek their own gain and glory at the cost of Dûnan lives. Quality of life degrades over the centuries, from peaceful utopia civilizations to constantly warring among the tribes, as the Feuran seek to hold sway over more and more land and people.
Most accounts of this era were lost or destroyed during the Age of Ashes. Those that remain are indistinguishable from legend.
