In the conceptualizing process, you will work on two different canvas as a team. The first canvas is used in the process of finding your event concept idea, and the second canvas is used to work on your chosen concept in detail, using tools for analysis, and finally identifying positive and critical elements in the internal and external environment of your event idea. Press the canvas below to find more guidance on each phase of the conceptualizing process.
The conceptualizing process is about establishing your event concept; or in other words finding out which ideas are worth pursuing and turning into reality. The process is divided into 4 steps, which you must follow in the right sequence:
Objectives
Brainstorm
Screening
Choosing the final concept idea

The environmental search involves the external environment of the event. These are basically the elements which have an impact on the event, but which are currently outside of the event managers' control. The purpose here is first to identify which elements that can affect our event, and afterwards decide on how to deal with that in the development of our concept:
Environmental search
Information gathering
SWOT
