BYU-Pathway Worldwide offers English Chat for free to help prepare you for improved employment through one-on-one conversations with native English speakers. 

• Practice English in a friendly, low-stress environment

• Meet online for 30-minute sessions

• Improve your pronunciation and fluency with native speakers

• Increase your confidence and skills

For this module, you will spend at least 30-minutes each week in an English Chat session with a volunteer.

1. Every Friday, visit the English Chat Scheduling page here: https://sites.google.com/view/english-chat-student-center/Scheduling?authuser=0 

2. Click through the volunteer names to look for an open appointment time for the next week. If you click on a volunteer name and you don't see any openings for the next week, just move onto the next name on the list until you find an open time. 

3. We will also share open appointment links on the WhatsApp group each Friday. Click this link to join our special WhatsApp group. Your access to the group will need to be approved prior to joining. Please do not share this link with anyone else.

4. Try to set your appointments for Tuesdays or Fridays so you can follow our weekly schedule, but if there is no availability those days, you can schedule it for a different day. 

5. Only schedule one session per week.
