A person who has the skill of developing others: Creates an environment that fosters learning, growth, and development. Provides challenging tasks and assignments that encourage continuous development of team members. Is aware of people's strengths, development needs, and career goals. Is always looking for ways to help those around them grow and develop.

Read this talk: "Knowing, Loving, and Growing" by Hans T. Boom
Study this scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:11-18
Ponder on the relationship between developing others and this scripture.
Review the questions below and think about how you will answer them in our discussion.
Action Plan: Identify 1-2 actions you will take to increase your capacity to develop others.
Questions to Ponder:
How can I support the growth and development of my coworkers or teammates, even in small ways?
Am I aware of the strengths and goals of those I work with, and how can I better use that knowledge to help them succeed?
What opportunities can I create or suggest that challenge others and help them develop and recognize their divine potential?
How does helping others grow contribute to a stronger team and a better culture at work, school, Church or home?
