Congratulations on reaching the end of your Tier 1 role. During this module you will package the skills you gained into professional documents, an online presence, verified skill scores, and a short reflection. When you finish, you will be ready to promote yourself confidently to future employers and to move toward Tier 2 opportunities.
Estimated times to completion are below:
Skill Reflection (1 hour)
Resume Drafting and Updating (1 hour and 30 minutes)
VMock Resume Optimizer (1 hour)
LinkedIn Profile (2 hours)
Skill Benchmarks (1 hour)
Career Outcomes Survey (15 minutes)
Move Forward with Faith (45 minutes)
Before polishing your résumé, you’ll identify the Tier 1 skills and accomplishments that prove you’re ready for higher-level work. This reflection helps you choose the strongest content for each of the six standard résumé sections: Contact Info, Headline, Summary, Skills, Experience, Education.
Create your Folder. Start by creating a Google Drive folder for this module called "Program Reflection." Make sure the settings are enabled so anyone can view the contents.
Create your document. Create a Google Doc in the module called "Skills Reflection."
Do a rapid skill inventory. Set a timer for 10 minutes. During the 10 minutes, list every skill or tool you used in Tier 1. Don't edit the list, just brainstorm. These can be skills you learned in your 50% professional development time or skills you learned engaging in your work.
Match skills to resume sections. When your brainstorm is finished, you should have a rough list of at least 15-20 skills. Then think through where these skills would best fit in a resume and indicate it by putting a letter on your list:
H = Headline Keywords
S = Summary Themes
K = Skills List
E = Experience Bullet
ED = Education
Prioritize the skills list. Highlight the 6–8 skills that are both (a) important in jobs you want and (b) well supported by your experience.
Draft high-impact bullets for experience.
Use the formula Action verb + Task + Metric + Result.
Example: “Resolved 35+ customer tickets per day with 98 % satisfaction, improving first-response time by 12 %.”
You should have 3–5 bullet statements for your Tier 1 role.
Craft a Headline & 2-sentence Summary that echo your top skills. Write one concise headline (≤ 10 words) and a summary that links your Tier 1 impact to the value you offer employers.

Before entering your Tier 1 job, you completed a typing speed test and an internet speed test. In the first couple of weeks of the program, you completed a Versant Speaking and Listening test. Now you will retake those tests to see how you perform now. This can be helpful information to share with employers looking to hire you and you may want to include these scores on your resume or LinkedIn profile.
Take the test.
Take a screenshot of your score.
Upload the screenshot to your Google Drive folder. You will also report your score in this week's self-evaluation.

Please complete the short Career Outcomes Survey. Your responses are anonymous, yet to verify completion you’ll need to capture a quick screenshot of the “Thank you for submitting” page and upload it with your other evidence. The feedback you share—how Tier 1 affected your confidence, skills, and career plans—directly informs BYU-Pathway as we improve the program for future students. Honest answers, whether glowing or constructive, are the most valuable, so speak candidly as you reflect on your experience.
