During this week's Zoom meeting, we will discuss the soft skill of attention to detail and the related gospel topic of God is in the Details.
Someone with Attention to Detail: Directs attention to the task at hand in order to avoid making mistakes. Prepares and carefully reviews figures, computations, reports, etc. to identify errors or problems; ensures consistency and that information can be understood by all who read it. Shows concern for all aspects of the job no matter how small.
In preparation for our meeting:
Read this talk: "Called to Serve" by Neal A. Maxwell
Study this scripture: D&C 64:33- "Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great."
Ponder on the relationship between attention to detail and God being in the details of our lives.
Review the questions below and think about how you will answer them in our discussion.
Action Plan: Identify 1-2 actions you will take to increase your attention to detail.

How do my small daily efforts contribute to the greater work I’m trying to accomplish?
In what areas of my work or service could greater attention to detail make a meaningful difference?
How can I show more care and reverence for the “small things” that might otherwise seem insignificant?
How does my attention to detail reflect my commitment to serving others and honoring God in my work?
