During this week's Zoom meeting, we will discuss the soft skill of confidence and the related gospel topic I am a child of God.
Someone with confidence feels: The benefit in one’s own capability to accomplish a task and select an effective approach to a task or problem. This includes confidence in one’s decisions or opinions in the face of increasingly difficult or challenging circumstances.
In preparation for our meeting:
Read this talk: Let’s Talk About Confidence, Lynzi Clyde, December, 2020
Study this scripture: 1 John 3:2 “Beloved, now are we the [children] of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when
he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”
Ponder on the relationship between confidence and our divine potential as children of God.
Review the questions below and think about how you will answer them in our discussion.
Action Plan: Identify 1-2 actions you will take to increase your confidence.
Questions to Ponder:
1.Provide examples of ways that you help build confidence in others.
