Scheduling Expectations

To make the most of your English Chat experience, please follow these important guidelines:

Choose your time wisely
Schedule your session at a time when you know you can attend without interruptions or distractions. Treat it like an important appointment—because it is! Your growth depends on your consistency and focus.
Honor your commitment
If something unavoidable comes up and you’re unable to attend, please cancel your appointment in advance. This allows the volunteer to adjust their schedule and gives another student the opportunity to take your place. Communicating early is a sign of respect and professionalism.
Set a reminder
Add a personal reminder on your device so you don’t forget your appointment. Whether it’s a calendar notification or an alarm, a simple reminder can help you stay on track.
Limit to two sessions per week
For now, students are asked to schedule only one session per week two. As more volunteers join the program, we hope to expand the number of available sessions. Thank you for being patient and considerate to others who are also eager to learn.
Check your internet connection
A strong internet connection is essential for a successful session. Try to be in a quiet location with good Wi-Fi to ensure clear communication and a better overall experience.
Stay focused on the purpose
These sessions are dedicated to helping you improve your English-speaking skills and build confidence. Please remember that this is not the space to ask volunteers about job opportunities or financial support. If you are in need of those resources, kindly reach out to your assigned peer mentor, who is there to support and guide you.

Your commitment to these guidelines reflects your integrity, professionalism, and desire to grow.
Each session is a step forward—and your efforts matter. Keep showing up, keep learning, and trust that your progress will open doors.

We’re excited to offer you the opportunity to practice with a large group of English Chat volunteers—fluent English speakers who are eager to help you grow in confidence and improve your speaking skills.

Browse through the list of volunteers below and choose the one you'd like to meet with.
You’re welcome to schedule with a different volunteer each time—variety is a great way to expand your conversational skills!
The appointment calendar will show only the next 7 days, so if you don’t see availability right now, check back again soon—new time slots are added each week.

🔗 Click on a volunteer’s name to open their booking page in a new tab. There, you can select a time that works best for you.

⚠️ If a volunteer has no available times, simply try the next name on the list. With so many volunteers available, you’ll likely find an open appointment quickly!
