Character Overview

Xari is a Bektepi Kepek from The Bektep Space Station. They are an outgoing and friendly person with a deep love of weird and unusual animals, which lead them to pursue a career as an astrofarmer, raising and caring for purnekels. As well as their purnekel flock, they also have two pet evats named Bakrud and Vakur.

Personality

Xari is honest, outgoing and overall curious about the galaxy around them, sometimes to their own detriment. Combined with the fact Xari has a tendency to be impulsive, leads them into more unusual and potentially dangerous situations than the average Bektepi finds themselves in. Their impulsivity and out-of-the-box thinking, however, usually get them out just fine.

Hobbies and Interests

Xari has loved animals in general since they were a young kid and seem to just have a way with them. As a child, they would go down to the under-farms and help Mx. Pira, an old family friend, with their farm. It was here that Xari found Bakrud and Vakur - the two little Evat had been stealing Mx. Pira's Burad feed for months until Xari caught them. While most see Evats as pests, Xari had a soft spot for the little creatures and decided to take them home with them. Researching how to best care for them sparked an intense interest and respect for the undesirable (or as Xari calls them, underappreciated) creatures of the galaxy that Xari still has to this day. They love to take any opportunity they can to learn about the weird and wonderful animals of the galaxy - the more hands-on the better!
