As the Pelexat Galaxy is, well, a galaxy, there earth calendar systems don't really work there. Different peoples have different ways of recording dates and times throughout the Galaxy, and every planet, ship and station usually has their own local system, but the most universal one is the one used by the Kepek Commonwealth called the universal Kepeki calendar (or the UKC).
The current date according to the UKC is
Years in the UKC system are called Bektep Orbits, defined by the amount of time The Bektep Space Station takes to orbit around it's star. The year is followed by a second number showing what age the year was in. Ages in the UKC begin when a new royal family takes the Kepek Commonwealth's throne.
A Bektep Orbit is divided up into 14 months, each with exactly 32 days. The months were named after different Kepeki colonies (and former colonies) and fleets are as follows:
Xebrina
Bekena
Tebrana
Iktana
Vad'rikna
Evania
Vakibna
Itabana
Winekna
Me'atpia
Nabrana
Artabeana
Pex'mipnia
Avutrana
Days, sometimes refereed to as "universal days" in the UKC are difined as roughly a 24 hour period (just like on earth). There are exactly 488 days in a Bektep Orbit.
Bektep has no daily night cycle, since it's lighting conditions were based off of what the Kepek living on Xebrik's poles were experiencing, as this is where the centre of their former civilisation was. As such, Bektep and other collonies using a polar lighting cycle have 3½ months of daylight, 3½ months of night and 3½ months of dawn and dusk respectively. These periods are referred to as seasons.
The first season is Dawn, which starts on the 1st of Xebrina and ends on the 16th of Iktana.
The second season is Light, which starts on the 17th of Iktana and ends on the 32nd of Vakibna
The Third season is Dusk, which starts on the 1st of Itabana and ends on the 16th of Nabrana
The final season is Dark, which starts on the 17th of Nabrana and ends on the 32nd of Avutrana
