Voidstar follows the story of Xari, an astrofarmer living aboard The Bektep Space Station. While out tending to their flock one day, they encounter a strange gemstone floating among the asteroids, which, upon investigation, they quickly realise is the egg of an incredibly powerful creature who they name Ravu. But power like Ravu's rarely goes unnoticed, and before they know it, Xari and Ravu find themselves at the centre of a plot that threatens the entire galaxy.

With the help from their friend Wev, a former planetary scout and explorer, Xari must flee the only home they've ever known to find their own place in the galaxy where Ravu can live in peace.
