Wev is a former Planetary Scout from the Tabiren Colony Fleet, who has since relocated to the Bektep Space Station, and now works as an Airlock Security guard. Why she left her original home is a secret she guards closely, but its clear from even casual conversations with them that they aren't keen to go back anytime soon. She was a part of three separate planetary scout missions, all lasting around 10 Bektep Orbits each, but after finishing their final missions, she moved permanently to the Station.

Wev is very quiet and reserved around most people, especially those she doesn't know. She's are distrusting of others, taking a very long time to warm up to the people around them, and she approaches most situations with caution. Don't mistake their quietness for shyness though. Wev is incredibly blunt and generally doesn't care to worry what others think of her unless they're saying it to her face.
Wev has a special interest in plants and fungi, which lead her to want to pursue a career as a botanist. However, due to the way Tabiri society works, her cell (the people she was raised alongside) were pushed into the roles of planetary scouts. She was able to make it work though, finding a place on her cell's scout team as a xenobotanist studying plants on alien worlds.
Nowadays, Wev's love of vegitation doesn't come up in their work an awful lot, but that doesn't stop them from lovingly doting on the indoor garden they've grown in their apartment and finding the best ways to care for them. Much of Wev's wardrobe also features plants and fungi themes, from jewellery shaped like metallic leaves to t-shirts showing her favourite mushrooms.
Wev's also somewhat of an artist. One of their favourite downtime activities while on planetary missions was sketching and painting the strange plant life she found and brought back to base.
