As a Cub Scout, there will be plenty to do and talk about, in small groups and with the whole Pack. The activities in which you take part are usually part of the Cub Scout Progress Badge Training Scheme, and as you move through the Scheme, you will be able to gain badges to wear on your uniform.
The first badge you will be working towards will be the World Scout Badge.

When you have gained the World Scout Badge, you can move on to the Progress Badges. The requirements will give you an idea of the type of activities which you can try during your time in the Cub Scout Pack.

When you have gained the Progress Badges, you can begin to look at the Proficiency Badges.
As a Cub Scout, you may already have your own hobbies and interests, or you may like to try something new. To help you, some of the requirements will tell you what you have to do and others will give you a choice of activities.
You can get the help of an adult with choosing something to do which you will find interesting, fun and fulfilling.

The Akela Award is the top honours for Cub Scouting in Singapore. Leadership is the key focus, and award is given only on recommendation of Adult Leaders, followed by an interview. Winners of Akela Award will continue to wear the award badge when he enters the secondary school's Scout Troop.
